Without you, the Kimchi Festival would not be able to provide the high level of cultural and food programming that is offered at the one-day event. With a variety of different opportunities to choose from, you can volunteer by yourself or with a group of foodie friends. Whatever you choose, there is a spot for you. You will receive a free Festival T-shirt to wear during your shift(s) and Kimchi.

Volunteer opportunities include:
Information Booth / Event Clean-Up / Kimchi Workshop
Cooking Demonstrations / Cultural Activities / Performance support
Festival Set-Up/Tear-Down / Sales of cultural goods/kimchi

Important Volunteer Information
  – All volunteers need to be at least 16 years old.
  – If you are unable to fulfill your shift, please let us know as soon as possible so that         we can give another volunteer the opportunity to help.

Sponsorship and Vendor

The Kimchi festival is a one-day cross-cultural culinary discovery with Korean Kimchi as the star. This year’s theme, “Tasting Korean-Culture, Growing Future” encapsulates our dedication to sharing not just the delicious Korean food that we bring but also supporting the future of our community. We believe that food is the best tool to bring people together and to understand and communicate with each other.

Despite the inclement weather last year, the Kimchi Festival attracted more than 3,500 attendees, and this year, in 2024, it is expected to gather at least 5,500 food and culture enthusiasts from all age groups and diverse backgrounds.

The Kimchi Festival will be held at Love Park in the center of Philadelphia! We encourage your support.
